These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the MedicPlexus website, accounts, learning tools, course access, MCQ practice, flashcards, spaced-repetition features, Aladdin AI study support, private study sessions and related services.
By creating an account, booking a session, buying access, submitting content, or using MedicPlexus, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
1. About MedicPlexus
MedicPlexus is a medical education technology platform. It provides the website, account system, course viewing tools, question-practice tools, flashcards, spaced repetition, weak-topic review, Aladdin AI learning support, private study-session booking and related platform features.
MedicPlexus may host or facilitate access to educational courses and materials created by independent course owners, instructors or providers. Unless clearly stated otherwise, course content belongs to the relevant course owner or provider, not MedicPlexus.
2. Educational use only
MedicPlexus is for education, revision, simulated questions and exam preparation. It is not a medical advice service, clinical care provider, emergency service, diagnostic tool or substitute for professional supervision, local clinical guidelines or patient-specific medical judgment.
You must not use MedicPlexus, Aladdin AI, private sessions, MCQs or any learning content to make patient-specific clinical decisions.
3. Accounts
Users may create free accounts. Some features, courses, bookings or services may require payment or approval. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account.
You must not share, sell, transfer or lend your account access to another person. MedicPlexus may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to be shared, misused, automated, fraudulent or harmful to the platform or other users.
4. Courses and course providers
MedicPlexus facilitates technology for course access, viewing, MCQs, flashcards, spaced repetition, weak-topic tracking and related educational features. Course providers are responsible for the course materials they upload, publish, sell or deliver through the platform.
Course providers must ensure that their materials are accurate to the best of their knowledge, appropriate for educational use, and do not infringe copyright, trademarks, database rights, image rights, confidentiality obligations, patient privacy or any other third-party rights.
MedicPlexus does not claim ownership of provider course content. Course owners retain their intellectual property rights in their course materials, subject to any licence needed for MedicPlexus to host, display, stream, process, secure and make the course available through the platform.
MedicPlexus is not responsible for a course provider’s infringement of third-party intellectual property rights where the provider supplied or published the infringing material. However, if you believe a course or material infringes your rights, contact us at [email protected] with enough detail for us to review the complaint. We may remove, restrict or disable access to disputed content while we investigate.
5. User content and AI prompts
You are responsible for any content, messages, flashcards, notes, uploaded material, private-session information, AI prompts or other information you submit to MedicPlexus.
You must not submit patient-identifiable information, confidential clinical information, real patient records, hospital numbers, patient images, private contact details or any other information that could identify a real patient. Aladdin AI is for simulated questions, educational explanations and learning support only.
6. Private study sessions
Private study sessions are normally paid bookings, although some instructors may choose to provide free sessions at their discretion. Session availability, format, duration, topic scope and price may vary by instructor or service.
Private study sessions are educational only. They do not provide medical advice, clinical supervision, employment advice, immigration advice, examination guarantees or patient-care guidance.
You may request a refund for a private study session if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are not automatically refundable, although MedicPlexus or the instructor may consider exceptional circumstances case by case. If MedicPlexus or the instructor cancels a paid session and cannot offer a suitable replacement, you will be offered a refund for that session.
7. Payments
Payments may be handled through WooCommerce and payment providers including Stripe, PayPal, Paymob and InstaPay, depending on your location and available options. Payment availability may differ for UK, Egypt and worldwide users.
Prices, currencies, taxes, access periods and payment methods may change. Any paid service should show the key price and access details before purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Digital content, refunds and cancellation rights
Some MedicPlexus services involve digital content or online services that may be available immediately after purchase. Refund and cancellation rights may depend on the type of service, whether access has started, your location and applicable consumer law.
Private study-session refunds follow the 48-hour cancellation rule above unless applicable law gives you additional rights. For course access, subscriptions or other digital products, any specific refund terms shown at purchase or in a separate Refund and Cancellation Policy will apply, subject to your legal rights.
9. Intellectual property and restricted use
The MedicPlexus brand, website design, platform technology, software, question systems, flashcard systems, spaced-repetition tools, weak-topic review features, Aladdin AI interfaces and platform content are protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to MedicPlexus.
Course content, videos, notes, slides, questions, explanations and other materials may be owned by the relevant course provider or other rights holder.
You must not copy, download, record, reproduce, distribute, sell, scrape, publish, translate, adapt, share, upload elsewhere, train an AI system on, or create derivative works from MedicPlexus or course-provider content unless you have written permission or a feature clearly allows it.
Unauthorised sharing of login details, course content, MCQs, flashcards, videos, notes or platform data is strictly prohibited. MedicPlexus may suspend access, remove content, seek payment for losses, report misuse, and take legal action where appropriate.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use MedicPlexus unlawfully, fraudulently or harmfully;
- attempt to hack, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass platform security;
- share accounts or allow unauthorised access;
- upload infringing, misleading, harmful, abusive, confidential, patient-identifiable or unlawful material;
- misrepresent your identity, qualifications, role or affiliation;
- use MedicPlexus content for commercial teaching, redistribution or competing services without permission.
11. No exam or outcome guarantee
MedicPlexus may support revision, practice and learning, but we do not guarantee exam success, employment outcomes, professional registration, clinical competence, certification, accreditation, fellowship results, Royal College exam results or any other outcome.
12. Third-party services and links
MedicPlexus may integrate with or link to third-party services such as payment providers, video platforms, email services, AI providers or instructor tools. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. MedicPlexus is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep MedicPlexus available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, withdraw, replace or modify features, courses, pricing, platform tools or content where needed for security, maintenance, legal, operational or business reasons.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, MedicPlexus is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, exam failure, clinical decisions, unauthorised user conduct, or course-provider content uploaded by independent providers.
MedicPlexus does not accept responsibility for course-provider infringement of third-party intellectual property rights where the relevant provider supplied or published the material, but we will review properly notified complaints and may take action where appropriate.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created legal or security risk, infringed rights, shared access, uploaded prohibited content, misused AI tools, or harmed the platform or other users.

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
17. Complaints and intellectual property notices
If you have a complaint about content, copyright, intellectual property, patient confidentiality, data protection or platform misuse, contact [email protected]. Please include your name, contact details, the URL or title of the relevant content, a description of the issue, and evidence of your rights or concern where applicable.
18. Governing law
These Terms are intended to operate for users mainly in the UK and Egypt, and for worldwide users where the platform is available. The governing law and forum may depend on the user location, provider location, consumer protection rules and the specific transaction. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
19. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms as MedicPlexus develops, including when new courses, providers, payment methods, AI tools, subscriptions, mobile apps or platform features are introduced. The latest version will be published on this page.
